This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Site at www.thece.co (“Site”) owned by Swurveys, Inc. doing business as The Consumer Engagement Company (“Thece”). Thece recognizes the importance of protecting the privacy of your personally identifiable information (“PII”), and we have instituted reasonable and appropriate online policies and security measures to aid in protecting your information. This Privacy Policy applies to all users of the Site and describes some of the ways Swurveys collects, uses, and shares your information.

What Information does Thece Collect?
Swurveys collects personal data from visitors to the Site in various ways, examples of which could include:

Contact Us – When you contact Swurveys by phone or email through the methods listed on the “Contact Us” page on the Site, Thece may collect your name, address, phone number and email address and any other information that you provide to Thece so that Thece may respond to your inquiry.

Product Sign-In – You can use the Sign-In link to access the web-based services. You will be required to provide your user login information and password or use the social log-in feature.

Usage Monitoring – We also use cookies (see more below) and track IP addresses so we can monitor the use of our Site and improve, enhance, and track visitors to our Site. This monitoring may include session recording, cookie placement and tracking, click tracking, or requesting that an individual respond to a survey about their online experience. We use third party web analytics providers, including Google, Facebook and Adobe, to enhance the information that we receive about our Site visitors through the tracking of IP addresses, webpage viewing and clicks. Our web analytics provider may use your IP address to provide us more specific information about you as a visitor to our Site, such as your geographic location, organization name, your name, address, email, and phone number. SMS Phone Numbers If you contact us by short message service (“SMS”) to receive an experience developed by a Customer (as defined in the Terms of Use), we store the phone number for diagnostic purposes only and do not use it for any other purpose or reason. We will not send you advertisements, solicitations, or other communications beyond the requested survey in response to any SMS inquiries made by you.

How Thece Uses the Information You Provide? 
If you give us your PII, we will use this information to contact you and respond to your inquiries, to register you with our Site, to administer our services, and/or to send you information about our products and services and newsletters featuring promotional information as well as industry information. We may also use the information to contact you directly to inquire about your interest in our products and services. We also use your information to help us learn more about the areas of the Site that you have visited. From time to time, we may use this information to contact you via email, postal mail, or telephone to learn more about products or services you may be interested in, your experience with our services, for feedback or customer testimonials about our services, or to conduct market surveys.

Through our web analytics providers, including Google, Facebook and Adobe, we may receive additional contact information that you did not provide to us directly but that you provided to another member of the web analytics community. In turn, we may share the contact information you provide to us with our web analytics provider which may be shared with other members of the same community. Your visits to our Site will not be tracked if you delete or remove the cookies from your computer. You always have the choice not to receive marketing information or calls from us by opting-out. We may contact you, subject to the choices you have made, via email, postal mail, or telephone, to conduct market research or surveys and learn more about how we can improve our product and service offerings. To serve you better, we may combine information you give us and information about your product interest and purchases with information from third parties, including demographic information and information that is publicly available, as well as share your information with third parties. We may also combine this information with information from our affiliates, as well as share your information with affiliates. We use that combined information to enhance and personalize your experience with us, and to communicate with you in accordance with this policy.  

For users that become Customers as defined in the Terms of Use, Thece may also identify the user (by name and logo) as a Thece Customer on Thece’s Site and on other promotional materials. Any goodwill arising from the use of the Customer’s name and logo will inure to the Customer’s benefit. If a Customer would like more information about this or to opt out of such use, please contact Swurveys through the contact information provided in the “Contact Us” section below.

Does Thece Share your Information with Others?
Thece may share your information with our affiliates and your PII may be processed by third parties in connection with Thece’s provision of the Site and/or the services available through the Site. We may also disclose your information if required by law or in connection with a legal claim or proceeding. In the event a third party offers to purchase the assets of, or any ownership interest in, Thece, we will disclose your PII to a prospective purchaser.

How Long We Retain Your Data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website or web app, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data
If you have an account on our website or web app, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. Children’s Privacy/COPPA
We are committed to protecting the privacy of children. You should be aware that the Site is not intended or designed to attract children under the age of 13 years. We do not collect PII from any person we actually know is a child under the age of 13 years. We will promptly delete any PII that we learn was provided by a user under 13 years of age.  

No one under the age of 18 should submit any PII to the Site without the consent of a parent or guardian.

California Do Not Track Disclosure
Do Not Track is a privacy preference that users can set in their web browsers. When an anonymous user turns on the Do Not Track signal, the browser sends a message to websites requesting them not to track the user. Your California Privacy Rights

Security
Thece uses reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect the information you give us. However, while we take reasonable steps to protect your personal information, you accept that no Internet data transmission can be guaranteed to be secure from access by unintended recipients and will not hold us responsible for any breach of security unless this is due to our willful misconduct.

About Cookies
Cookies are pieces of information a website can send to your computer’s browser for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies to ascertain which pages on our Site are visited, how often, and by whom, to make our Site more user friendly and to give you a better experience when you return to the Site. For example, cookies allow us to save your password so you do not have to re-enter it every time you visit our Site. We will notify you of any changes in our privacy policy by posting the revised policy on our Site. Further, web-based applications, products or services or the websites of third parties or our affiliates that you access from the Site may be subject to different privacy policies. How do I Make Choices about Receiving Promotional Communications?
Thece would like to communicate with you only if you want to hear from us. If you are registered with us and would like to access, review, amend, delete or update your registration and personal details from our database, please click contact us at signup@swurveys.com. To unsubscribe from email mailing lists please click on the unsubscribe link in emails you receive from us. If you prefer not to receive promotional or industry information from us or our affiliates, or if you do not want us to use your information to enhance your experience, please let us know by writing to us or by sending us an email at the address below, under “Contact Us.” Please be sure to include your full name and the email address you used when you registered. If you ask us to remove your name and address from promotional lists, we will maintain your name in a “do not contact” file to ensure that we can honor your request. It may take up to 14 business days to process your email request, and 6-8 weeks to process your postal mail request, during which period you may continue to receive communications from Thece and/or our affiliates.

Choice of Law
This policy shall be governed by the laws of King County, State of Washington, without regard to conflict of law principles.
